Brandy was born on March 20th 2008 and her mom died from birthing complications, she was brought to me to raise by my neighbor shortly after that. She is a APHA sorrel overo filly, in todays market I should be shot for taking her in but how can you say no to such a little innocent thing. As of today March 29th she is doing well she is growing,playing and getting into things. As of May 16th Brandy is doing very well and is a normal healthy almost 2 month old foal. At 4 mos old Brandy went to her new home, she is fully weaned and doing good with no health issues, she is a perfectly healthy spoiled orphan foal. I wish her all the luck and happiness in her new home.

Brandy has been sold and is in her new home. Thank You Johnny for giving her a good home.

Brandy chowing down. This is Katies first orphan and she has learned very well how to feed them, in the beginning they like to nestle in your arm kinda like having to find it in momma. It did take a while to get her to sucking but once she got accustomed to the milk taste and the bottle she hasnt stopped.

Picture at right is Brandy at 25 days old, she is doing very well and is now eating grass,hay and grain along with her milk of course. She is filling out and getting good muscle and bone to her. She has free access all day to the other horses so she will know that she is of the equine species.


Brandy at almost 4 months old, she's not all shed out yet but on her way to it. She was visiting Sierra in this picture.
